Met chewbacca at wondercon

I went to wondercon and saw some cool cosplay costumes and best of all I met peter mayhew mr chewbacca and I gave him one of my pictures. He really enjoyed the picture that was priceless!!!!!!

AT AT terrarium

I haven't made a terrarium in awhile and I have been obsessed with star wars so why not make a star wars terrarium 

looks like the AT AT  is on endor 

I really love these fish bowl style jars just cause its like a little capsule of a scene in nature

Went to the Zoo today

One of my passions is taking animal photos just cause animals give you there true feelings. I have not been to  the zoo in awhile and it was nice to see the gorilla's and chimps 

I usually go right around lunch time they are most active then. 

MY buddie's b day present

went to the nursery to look for a bonsai for my buddies birthday and I decided to add a little something to it to make it a special miniature bonsai

I was going to put a single figure on it but the bonsai was so big that it didnt hurt to go alittle crazy with it

piggy terrarium

made another mega terrarium today I really like making the big ones I wish I good find bigger jars or vases. I would love to make one as big as a trash can if I could but this will have to do for now

YodA TErrarium

I have been inspired by star wars lately not because of the new 3d phantom menace I think they are a joke inspired by the original star wars 

Well I made a jungle terrarium and I thought yoda would fit perfectly in this one looks like dagobah

elephant terrarium for valentines day

I have been pretty uninspired to make anything for awhile but I had day off and got some supplies and I made today a terrarium valentines day..

I have decided to use more indoor plants in my terrariums and I think its cool when you see the growth and have to trim the plants 

It really brings the garden indoors

mining again

went hiking to the mine again today we explored lower mine and we found the upper mine as well most of the mine was flooded but it was very beautiful 

most of the mine looked like glazed donut on the walls and had cool drips coming from the ceiling

Huntington library with chewy

Had fun going to huntington library today for the chinese new year celebration 

took some cool pics with chewy while I was there 

I am also preparing to make some new terrariums with star wars themes cant wait to get started

dawn mine

went hiking in the dawn mine armed with all kinds of led flashlights and I must say it was so beautiful inside but eerily silent and scary. The deeper we got in the mine the quieter it got and the sound of our foot steps echoed in the mine. The next time we go we will explore the upper mines and I will concentrate on taking some great pics I was just overwhelmed by the whole experience

Hiking to an old MINe

went on a new hike in pasadena today and I was told we would see an old mine at the end. It took us a good two hours to get there because most of the trees on the path had been blown down because of the high winds we had last month . It looked like a troll walked through it. We had some trouble getting over all the boulders and fallen trees. but when we got to the mine it was worth it. The mine had an eerie echo and alot of water so we decided to make another trip to the mine with flash lights and more a bigger party.

huntington library moss

I went to the huntington library today and saw this cool little moss exhibit

They had a few variety of moss with a macro video camera that you could move around and look at the moss up close.
